BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) unfollowed senior party leader and his cousin T. Harish Rao on Instagram, sparking fresh rumours of a growing rift within the party. The move on social media has caught public attention and led to political speculation across Telangana.
Sources say Harish Rao is unhappy with the direction of BRS and is trying to bring back the old Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) by asking the Election Commission to revive the name. There are also reports that he recently met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, which has added to the buzz.
Meanwhile, MLC K. Kavitha, KTR’s sister and KCR’s daughter, is also rumoured to be leaving the party. Though she has not made any official statement, party insiders believe she may soon reveal her future plans. The situation hints at a possible big change in Telangana politics.
