BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao has received a notice from the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), asking him to appear on May 28 in connection with alleged irregularities in the Hyderabad Formula E race funding. The case involves a ₹55 crore transfer from HMDA to a UK-based firm, which was later cancelled by the current government.
KTR, currently on a pre-scheduled trip to the UK and USA, informed ACB that he will cooperate and appear after his return. Calling the notice “political harassment,” he accused CM Revanth Reddy of targeting him for revenge. His party has strongly condemned the move.
