North Korean leader Kim Jong-un oversaw tactical drills involving special forces and tanks, calling war preparation the military’s top priority, state media said Wednesday.
The exercises included drone operations, with reports suggesting North Korean troops are learning such tactics in Russia. Kim linked the drills to supporting Moscow, framing it as part of an anti-imperialist front.
Last month, North Korea confirmed it had sent troops to Russia under a mutual defense treaty, calling the move “justifiable.”
