Speculation is growing in Telangana political circles that BRS MLC K. Kavitha’s rumored plan to launch a new political party may be part of a larger strategy masterminded by her father and BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). Analysts suggest this move could be aimed at creating an alternative platform for disgruntled leaders and voters dissatisfied with BRS, while still keeping them within the ideological orbit of the party.
The alleged strategy, according to political observers, is to prevent vote-splitting and maintain the BRS vote bank at a time when the party has lost ground to the Congress. Kavitha’s party could act as a buffer, attracting floating voters and disillusioned BRS members, while projecting a fresh face to the public. Whether this plan yields results or not will depend on how Kavitha’s new political venture unfolds in the coming months.
