History has been made. Indian Women’s team won the Under-19 T20 World Cup. The team under the captaincy of Shafali Verma lifted the coveted cup. This is the first time that the Indian team lifted an ICC tournament cup and that too coming up in the Under 19 world cup is quite sensational.

However, this final is a single-sided match that was sealed in the first half of the match as England was wrapped for just 68 runs. All the six Indian bowlers were on the wickets column and none of the England batswomen applied themselves with the highest score was just 19 runs.

India managed to score the runs quite comfortably in just 14 overs losing just three wickets. Titas Sadhu won the Player of the match and Grace Scrivens from England was picked the Player of the tournament.
