India’s major state-owned oil companies, IOC, BPCL, and HPCL, have assured the public that there is no shortage of fuel despite recent tensions with Pakistan. In separate statements, the companies confirmed that they have sufficient stocks of petrol, diesel, and LPG, and that their supply chains are operating smoothly. The assurances came after social media posts showed panic buying at fuel stations, particularly in states bordering Pakistan. The oil firms urged citizens to stay calm and avoid unnecessary rush, ensuring uninterrupted fuel access for all.
