A grand statue honoring legendary Telugu actor and politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) is set to be unveiled on October 31 in Cumming, Atlanta. The statue has been installed in the city’s Sunny Mountain Farms Center, and the event is set to mark a historic celebration for the Telugu community worldwide.
The unveiling ceremony will be conducted on Diwali, with the statue symbolizing NTR’s enduring legacy and his impact on the Telugu diaspora.
Nara Lokesh, NTR’s grandson and National Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), will unveil the statue at 11 am. Prominent Indian dignitaries, including Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) Ramu Vennigandla, Suresh Kakarla, Venkata Rao Yarlagadda, and Gali Bhanu Prakash, are expected to attend alongside fans and Telugu leaders from across the US.

The event, organized by the NTR Trust in Atlanta, invites all members of the Telugu community to witness this historic moment and celebrate NTR’s legacy. According to the organizers, the statue serves as a tribute to NTR’s contributions to Indian cinema and politics and is a beacon of Telugu pride on foreign soil.
