All-important India vs Pakistan clash is going to kickstart today in Dubai. The Asia Cup 2022 kickstarted in style with Afghanistan demolishing Sri Lanka in a brutal fashion. Now, India versus Pakistan is going to add more spice to it.
Ahead of the clash, Rohit Sharma met the press and answered a few questions. A Pakistani journalist asked Rohit Sharma about the opening combination. “Due to KL’s absence, you have tried a lot of opening combinations. Pant came in, and so is Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, etc., With KL back in the mix, who is going to open the innings with you?” asked the journalist to which Rohit cheekily replied, “You will get to know about this after the toss. Let us keep some secrets with us as well.”
This reply brought a few laughs at the press conference. Rohit Sharma in the interview said that there is no harm in trying new things.
