There has been so much publicity around Hyderabad that it is going to compete with world-class cities across the world. Our government is stating that Hyderabad is currently top in the country in many sectors. However, the harsh reality is something different. Apart from the IT sector and real estate boom, there are many disadvantages and problems in Hyderabad that the commuters and the people living here face daily.
Take, for example, the rains which poured down in the city a few days back. With these rains, which are not so heavy, the commuters have a hard time reaching home. There is no proper drainage system in areas like Nanakramguda which is fast developing. So, as a result, with the smallest of rains, the water has no way to go and stays on the roads resulting in huge water logging in many areas of Nanakramguda.
The rainy season arrived and the people who live in these areas already had tense faces when the rain is pouring down. They are requesting the officials to react before it’s too late.
