A drone flying near the Tirumala Srivari Temple caused a stir on Tuesday evening. The TTD Vigilance team quickly apprehended Anshuman Tareja, a YouTuber from Rajasthan, after spotting him operating the drone near the Harinama Sankirtana Mandapam, which faces the temple.
The vigilance team seized the drone and handed the YouTuber over to the Tirumala police. An investigation is underway to determine why the drone was flown and what the individual’s intentions were. Police have filed a case and are questioning Tareja.
TTD officials issued a statement confirming that flying drones in temple areas is strictly prohibited and that legal action will be taken against violators. They also emphasized increased security measures around the temple and urged devotees to follow temple regulations.
