Generally, December is considered a dull season. However, this year is completely different. There are some big bets that are getting released this December. There are three Pan-Indian films that are getting released in December. Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal is slated for release on December 1st. A lot has been riding on this movie. Also, SRK’s Dunki will be released on December 21st and Prabhas’s Salaar is slated for a December 22nd release. For these three movies almost Rs. 800 Crores business is in the line.
Coming to the Telugu releases in December, there are a bunch of films that are lined up. In the second week of December, Natural Star Nani’s Hi Nanna, Nithiin’s Extra, and Varun Tej’s Operation Valentine are slated for release. We might expect at least a movie to shift its movie date.
All in all, at least Rs. 1000 Crores is floated for December and it is such a crucial month for the industry.
