The film Court has brought unexpected profits to its producers, becoming the most successful film in the director’s career. The movie is estimated to have sold over 10 lakh tickets on the BookMyShow app. On regular weekdays, over 60,000 tickets were sold on average, a feat rarely seen even for films starring big stars.
While the movie showed good growth on Saturday, it was expected to earn even higher on Sunday. However, the two IPL matches held yesterday impacted the box office collections. As a result, the film, which had set a target of 2 crore rupees share from the Telugu states, only managed to collect 1.5 crore rupees. Worldwide, the film’s collection for yesterday was recorded at 1.75 crore rupees share.
