In a bid to boost tourism, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has proposed the establishment of water airports in the state. The government is exploring the possibility of setting up seaplane services at locations like Prakasam Barrage, Srisailam Dam, Nagarjuna Sagar, and the coastal areas of Visakhapatnam. The Andhra Pradesh Aviation Development Corporation (APADC) has been instructed to review these opportunities and invited interested companies to submit proposals by the 3rd of next month.
