Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu held key meetings with Union Ministers Prahlad Joshi and Rajnath Singh during his Delhi visit. With Minister Joshi, CM discussed allotment of rooftop solar capacity under the PM Surya Ghar Mukti scheme for 20 lakh SC/ST households in the state, seeking central approval for the proposal to provide free solar systems and subsidies for BC families. Chandrababu emphasized AP’s commitment to clean energy and reducing power costs with central support.
Later, the CM met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and presented Andhra Pradesh’s roadmap for industrial growth in defence and aerospace sectors. He outlined plans for integrated defence units, local manufacturing, testing and training centers, and infrastructure to boost the state’s role in Atmanirbhar Bharat’s defence production.
