Due to consecutive bank holidays, the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to deposit pension funds into bank accounts today. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has instructed village and ward secretariat staff to ensure there are no delays in delivering pensions to beneficiaries. On April 1st, the staff will visit homes to distribute pensions. This arrangement comes as banks will remain closed on March 30th for Ugadi, March 31st for Ramadan, and April 1st for their annual closing.
