
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Andhra Pradesh today to re-inaugurate the development works of Amaravati, the state’s dream capital. Upon landing at Gannavaram Airport in Vijayawada, the PM was received by key state officials, including the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
From the airport, Modi traveled to Velagapudi by helicopter, where he was warmly welcomed by Andhra Pradesh Governor Abdul Nazir, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. The dignitaries accompanied him to the event venue, where lakhs of people, including many Amaravati farmers, gathered in anticipation of the PM’s speech.
During the event, Modi is set to lay the foundation stones and inaugurate 18 crucial projects, marking the resumption of Amaravati’s development after a brief hiatus. The gathering expressed overwhelming joy as the long-anticipated vision of the capital’s development finally takes shape.
