Political grapevine is abuzz with whispers that APCC chief YS Sharmila might be making her way to the Rajya Sabha – not from Andhra, but Karnataka! Sources close to the Congress high command hint that the party may be rewarding her with an upper house seat, possibly fulfilling earlier promises made by Rahul Gandhi and DK Shivakumar.
If true, this would mark a big leap for Sharmila, who has been carving out her political path independent of brother YS Jagan. With talk of her packing bags for Delhi, insiders suggest it could be a strategic move to strengthen the Congress’s influence in AP through national-level representation. There is no Official confirmation yet. But as they say where there’s smoke… there’s usually some political fire!
