BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday announced that the party will boycott the upcoming Hyderabad Local Body MLC elections. Speaking at a preparatory meeting at Telangana Bhavan ahead of the BRS Silver Jubilee celebrations, KTR said a whip would be issued to party councillors, warning of strict action against any defiance.
He also hinted at the possibility of by-elections in the state and urged party leaders and representatives to stay prepared for upcoming political challenges.
