Boeing is looking to reassign up to 50 aircraft originally ordered by Chinese airlines after steep tariffs disrupted deliveries. China imposed a 125% tariff in response to the U.S.’s 145% rate under Donald Trump’s trade policies. Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg said the company is already receiving interest from other airlines and hopes for a resolution. Despite the setback, Boeing plans to continue increasing production of its 737 Max jets.
