Buzz is building in both Tollywood and Bollywood as two major stars – Jr NTR and Aamir Khan – are reportedly set to portray the father of Indian cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke, in two separate biopics.
Sources suggest Jr NTR will star in the Made in India project, produced by SS Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya and Varun Gupta, with direction by Nitin Kakkar under Rajamouli’s supervision. Meanwhile, reports from Bollywood indicate that Aamir Khan will play Phalke in a separate film directed by acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, who has been working on the script for over four years.
With two powerhouse actors and two top directors involved, fans are eagerly waiting to see who will bring the legendary filmmaker’s story to life more memorably. The biopic war has officially begun!
