Starting today, the aromatic and world-renowned Araku Coffee will be available in two stalls set up in the Parliament premises. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has granted permission for the establishment of these stalls, with orders issued by Kulmohan Singh Arora, Director of Lok Sabha Bhavan, to allow the Andhra Pradesh Girijan Cooperative Corporation Ltd (GCC) to open the outlets. GCC officials have already arrived in New Delhi to prepare for the launch, and Minister for Tribal Welfare G. Sandhya Rani will be in the national capital for the inauguration.

Special Araku Coffee gift packs have been curated for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, and other dignitaries as part of the effort to promote this tribal-origin coffee. The opening of these stalls in Parliament is expected to significantly boost Araku Coffee’s visibility, which is already popular for its rich aroma.

Recently, two Araku Coffee outlets were also inaugurated in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Council. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his aspiration for Araku Coffee to reach global recognition, akin to brands like Starbucks. With around 1.5 lakh tribal families involved in its cultivation, Araku Coffee continues to gain international recognition
