
The Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation has joined forces with IT giant Cisco to boost digital and advanced technology skills among higher education students across the state. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in Undavalli, with IT Minister Nara Lokesh present at the ceremony.
Through this partnership, Cisco will provide training in networking, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, aiming to enhance digital capabilities among students and government officials. The initiative includes online internship programs and specialized courses to be finalized by the higher education department.
The collaboration is set to equip 50,000 students with essential IT skills, bridging the growing skills gap and improving employment prospects in the digital age.
