The major temples in the Telugu States were shut down now due to the Solar Eclipse formation today. With this, the devotees were prevented to have darshan and the worship services have been shut down as well. The Venkateshwara Temple of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam was shut down at 8 AM on Tuesday and it will reopen at 7.30 PM today. Along with that, all the temples under TTD were shut down.
The Vijayawada Kanaka Durgamma Temple was shut down at 11 AM today and all the services will be reopened at 6 AM on Wednesday. The Yadadri Temple in Telangana was shut down at 8.50 AM this morning and will be reopened after 12 hours. The Ramalayam temple at Bhadrachalam has been closed for the day as well.
Similarly, the Simhachalam temple in Vishakapatnam and Arasavalli temple in Srikakulam have been shut down.
