Key political leaders from across parties gathered today for an all-party meeting to discuss India’s Operation Sindhoor, following the recent terror attack on Pahalgam. The Congress Working Committee (CWC) has expressed full support for the armed forces, with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi emphasizing unity while distinguishing between the government and the military. Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress president, also took to social media to praise the armed forces for their decisive actions against terrorism.
Other political parties, including the NCP, DMK, AAP, and RJD, have similarly backed the operation. Leaders like Sharad Pawar, M K Stalin, Arvind Kejriwal, and Tejashwi Yadav voiced strong support for the military’s efforts. The CPI also praised the operation’s targeted approach, calling it a calibrated response to cross-border terror while advocating for diplomatic solutions to avoid escalation. Despite their differing political ideologies, all parties have united in their backing of the armed forces in the face of national security challenges.
