Telangana police are preparing to take action against Tollywood celebrities who participated in promoting various betting apps. Actors like Rana Daggubati and Prakash Raj, who promoted the ‘Jungle Rummy’ app, Vijay Deverakonda for ‘A23’, Manchu Lakshmi for ‘Yolo 247’, Nidhi Agarwal for ‘Jeet Win’, and Pranitha Subhash for ‘Fair Play Live’ have been identified by the police.
Along with the celebrities, cases are also being filed against the companies behind these betting apps. Police have made arrangements to summon these stars for questioning in connection with their involvement in the promotions.
These developments highlight the increasing pressure on betting apps this year, with authorities taking stricter measures against companies and celebrities promoting such platforms.
