In preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s capital re-launch programme in Amaravati, the Andhra Pradesh Health Department has deployed 50 medical teams comprising super-speciality and speciality doctors across key locations. Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav and Health Special Chief Secretary M.T. Krishna Babu reviewed the arrangements with senior officials to ensure swift medical response during the high-profile event.

A total of 27 ambulances — including six with advanced life support and 21 with basic facilities — have been stationed at strategic points such as the Vijayawada airport, Secretariat helipad, and the event venue. Additionally, three 10-bed makeshift hospitals have been set up near the VVIP and public areas, equipped with critical care devices. With high summer temperatures expected, 31 teams of ANMs and ASHA workers are distributing buttermilk and ORS sachets to attendees.
