A delegation from the 16th Finance Commission is visiting Andhra Pradesh from April 15 to 18. As part of the tour, the members will meet Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati to discuss the state’s development plans and funding needs.
The team is also expected to interact with local representatives and business groups in Tirupati, followed by a visit to the Tirumala temple before returning to Delhi. This visit is seen as crucial for Andhra Pradesh, as it could influence the level of financial assistance the state receives from the Centre.
