Amaravati: Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has announced the commencement of his Sanatana Dharma Protection Tour, set to begin on February 12. The four-day tour will cover key temples in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, emphasizing the significance of Hindu traditions.

Pawan Kalyan will first visit the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Kerala before heading to Tamil Nadu. His itinerary includes visits to the Madurai Meenakshi Temple, Sri Parashurama Swamy Temple, Agastya Jeeva Samadhi, Kumbeshwarar Temple, Swamimalai Temple, and Tiruthani Subramanya Swamy Temple.

His visit gains political significance, especially in Tamil Nadu, where Udhayanidhi Stalin’s controversial remarks on Sanatana Dharma sparked widespread debate. Pawan Kalyan, known for his fluency in Tamil, is expected to make a strong political impact with his statements.

With Tamil Nadu set for elections next year, ideological battles are heating up. While BJP remains the primary opposition to DMK and AIADMK, its influence has been limited. BJP leaders believe that Pawan Kalyan’s tour and discussions on Sanatana Dharma could strengthen BJP’s presence in the state, with Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai leading the charge.
