Amaravati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) organized the grand ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Venkatapalem, Amaravati, drawing thousands of devotees.
Chief Minister & Governor Participate in Rituals
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his wife Bhuvaneswari presented ‘pattu vastrams’ to the deities on behalf of the state government.
Governor S. Abdul Nazeer joined the ceremony later and had darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy and His consorts.
TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, Executive Officer J. Syamala Rao, and Joint Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary honored the dignitaries with teertha prasadams and portraits of the Lord.

A Grand Spiritual Celebration
The temple, completed in 2022, hosted its largest religious event since opening.
Nearly 1,500 volunteers assisted devotees, distributing:
- 50,000 Srivari laddus
- 40,000 packets each of pulihora, ravva kesari, curd rice, and sweets.
The ‘kalyanam’ was performed on a lavishly decorated stage with a Tirumala temple replica, adorned with four tonnes of flowers and illuminated by 5,000 floodlights.
18 LED screens were installed for devotees to witness the divine ceremony.
Classical Music & Spiritual Presence
Renowned vocalists Priya Sisters and Nithyasri Mahadevan enriched the atmosphere with their performances.
Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, and other spiritual leaders graced the occasion.

Among the dignitaries present were Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and TTD Trust Board members Suchitra Ella, Jyothula Nehru, Vemireddy Prasanthi, Panabaka Lakshmi, and others.
With tight security arrangements and seamless coordination, the ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ was a spiritually uplifting experience for the devotees who gathered in thousands to witness the celestial wedding.
