Hyderabad: Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad currently offers direct flights to several prominent international destinations, including Dubai, Muscat, Bahrain, Doha, Sharjah, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Singapore, Bangkok, Malaysia, the UK, Germany, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

Previously, the airport operated services to Chicago, which were discontinued due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, airport authorities have indicated plans to soon restore services to Chicago and introduce direct flights to Dallas and San Francisco, further enhancing connectivity.

On average, the airport handles approximately 55,000 domestic passengers and over 15,000 international passengers daily. This number is expected to grow significantly with the addition of new international routes.

In November alone, 40,179 passengers traveled abroad from Hyderabad Airport, with a total of 2,467 international flights operating during the month. The airport is actively working to expand both its international connectivity and on-ground facilities, aiming to position itself as a major global travel hub.
