Hyderabad: A tragic charge outside Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre claimed the life of a 32-year-old woman and left a young boy injured during the premiere of Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule. The incident occurred in the RTC X Roads area when an unruly crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor.
Police, attempting to control the situation, reportedly caused the crowd to panic, leading to a huge charge of the crowd. The woman, accompanied by her husband and two children, was caught in the chaos. Despite being given CPR on-site and rushed to a hospital in Vidya Nagar, she succumbed to her injuries.

The injured boy, who had fallen unconscious during the commotion, was revived by police using CPR and subsequently taken to a hospital in Begumpet, where his condition is reported to be stable.
The area around the theatre remained congested with thousands of fans till late at night, causing severe traffic disruptions. Actor Allu Arjun was reportedly inside the theatre watching the premiere when the unfortunate event unfolded.
Authorities are investigating the incident, and questions have been raised about crowd management at such high-profile events. This tragedy has cast a shadow over the excitement surrounding the film’s release.
