Amaravati: Attempts to spread speculation about a rift between the TDP and Jana Sena Party (JSP) have once again been thwarted. After earlier rumors that Pawan Kalyan was unhappy with Chandrababu Naidu, the so-called “Blue Media” has now shifted focus, claiming that Naidu was displeased with Nagababu’s MLC nomination.
However, the TDP-JSP alliance has firmly dispelled these rumors. Nara Lokesh, the AP TDP President Palla Srinivasa Rao, and BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju were among the first to sign Nagababu’s nomination papers, confirming full support from the NDA alliance.
Naidu’s Endorsement Proves the Allegations False
Contrary to media claims, it was Chandrababu Naidu himself who had earlier announced that Nagababu would be inducted into the Cabinet, leaving no room for speculation about any dissatisfaction. The coordinated move by TDP and JSP leaders to support Nagababu’s candidature further proves the unity within the alliance.
NDA Set for a Clean Sweep in MLC Elections
With 164 out of 175 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, the TDP-BJP-JSP alliance is set to win all five MLC seats unopposed. As per the election notification, nominations remain open until March 10.
TDP’s Candidate Selection Still Underway
While Nagababu’s nomination has been confirmed, TDP is yet to finalize its remaining candidates. Speculation is rife that one seat will be allotted to the BJP, with RSS activist Paka Venkata Satyanarayana from Bhimavaram emerging as a frontrunner if the BJP gets a spot.
For TDP’s share of seats, multiple aspirants are vying for the positions. Senior leader Varma, who previously vacated the Pithapuram MLA seat for Pawan Kalyan, is rumored to be among the contenders.
Nagababu’s Ministerial Portfolio Yet to Be Decided
With his MLC election almost certain, discussions are ongoing about which portfolio Nagababu may receive in the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet. His appointment is expected to strengthen the JSP’s presence in the government.
