In the latest tax payment rankings, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has surpassed cricket icon Virat Kohli. For the fiscal year 2023-24, Virat Kohli paid Rs 66 crores in taxes, while Shah Rukh Khan paid a substantial Rs 92 crores, according to Fortune India.
Following Khan, South Indian actor Vijay paid Rs 80 crores, and Salman Khan paid Rs 75 crores. Amitabh Bachchan paid Rs 71 crores. Virat Kohli, with his Rs 66 crores, ranks fifth among Indian celebrities.
Ajay Devgn paid Rs 42 crores, MS Dhoni Rs 38 crores, Ranbir Kapoor Rs 36 crores, and Hrithik Roshan and Sachin Tendulkar each paid Rs 28 crores.
This highlights Shah Rukh Khan as the highest taxpayer in the Indian celebrity list for the year.
