Veteran Telugu star actor Sarath Babu is no more. He is aged 71. Sarath Babu has been undergoing treatment at AIG hospitals in Hyderabad for the past few days. He was admitted in the hospital on April 20th and he breathed his last a while ago as he is undergoing treatment. Multiorgan failure is said to be the reason behind his death.
Apart from the Telugu movies, Sarath Babu acted in different languages including Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Sarath Babu was last seen in Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab where he played a guest role. Sarath Babu’s original name was Satyam Babu Deekshitulu. He was born in Srikakulam district Amudalavalasa on July 31st, 1951.
Sarath Babu always wanted to become a Police Officer but his friends encouraged him to become an actor. Sarath Babu’s debut flick was Rama Rajyam. Sarath Babu married comedian Rama Prabha and the duo after living together for 14 years got divorced. Later, Sarath Babu married Tamil actor Nambiar’s daughter Sneha which was an unsuccessful marriage as well.
