Hyderabad: Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is gearing up for its grand release on December 5, 2024. Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles. With massive pre-release buzz, the film has already set records for ticket prices, drawing both excitement and controversy.
In Andhra Pradesh, the state government has approved an increase in ticket prices for the premiere and the first 13 days. Tickets for the premiere, scheduled for December 4 at 9:30 PM, are priced at an unprecedented Rs 944 (inclusive of GST) across single screens and multiplexes. For release day, December 5, ticket prices are set at Rs 324.50 for single screens and Rs 413 for multiplexes. Additionally, the government has permitted six shows on release day and five shows daily from December 6 to December 17.
Meanwhile, Telangana also approved higher ticket prices, with premiere show tickets costing Rs 1,200. This decision has sparked criticism and led to a petition filed in the Telangana High Court, which is set to be heard on December 3.
With immense hype and record-breaking advances, Pushpa 2: The Rule is poised to dominate the box office.
