Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has taken the box office by storm, amassing a staggering Rs 175.1 crore on its opening day in India, as per a few sources. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film’s strong promotional strategy and massive fan anticipation have propelled it to a record-breaking start.

The film dominated the Telugu market with Rs 95.1 crore, followed by an impressive Rs 67 crore from Hindi regions. Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 7 crore, while collections in Karnataka and Kerala stood at Rs 1 crore and Rs 5 crore, respectively. With an overall Telugu occupancy rate of 82.66%, the movie witnessed night show peaks at 90.19%. Hindi and Tamil regions also showed robust occupancies, recording 84.75% and 68.63% for night shows, respectively.
