HYDERABAD: At a public meeting in Pithapuram, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and renowned actor Pawan Kalyan addressed his fans, prioritizing his responsibilities towards state and national service over his film career. Pawan Kalyan highlighted that his foremost duty lies in improving his assembly constituency before resuming his acting commitments.
“I’ve made a promise. My priority is to enhance the infrastructure here. No one should criticize me for not attending to road repairs or other local needs,” Pawan Kalyan affirmed, addressing concerns about his commitment to governance over film projects, including his upcoming film ‘OG,’ eagerly awaited by his fans.
Acknowledging his fans’ excitement about ‘OG,’ Pawan Kalyan humorously questioned if he could find time to complete the film amidst his public duties. He assured them that while he has committed to the film, his focus remains on serving the people first.
Reflecting on his political journey, Pawan Kalyan expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support that led to his Jana Sena Party’s historic victory in Andhra Pradesh, securing all 21 contested assembly seats. He attributed this success to the strength it added to the ruling NDA alliance at the national level.
Pawan Kalyan also announced plans to establish his camp office in Pithapuram, where he recently acquired land, underscoring his commitment to his constituency and its development.
