Andhra Pradesh Minister Ambati Rambabu had a narrow escape late in the night. While he was traveling in the car, a wheat sack from wheat wheat-laden lorry fell on Ambati’s car. However, fortunately, only the bonnet got damaged and Ambati Rambabu escaped unscathed.
The incident was reported at the Sathupalli Police Station. The Police authorities detained the lorry driver and questioned him. Ambati Rambabu continued his journey in another vehicle. The accident happened after the rope which held the wheat-laden sacks broke. Fortunately enough, the driver of Ambati Rambabu was alert and immediately applied brakes. So, no one got hurt in the accident.
The YSRCP activists and party workers breathed a sigh of relief as a major accident was averted. The incident happened on the outskirts of Sathupalli.
