The deadly terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 28 lives has drawn strong condemnation from leaders across the political spectrum, both in India and globally. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the attack “an inhuman act of terror” and assured the nation that the perpetrators will be punished.

U.S. Senator J.D. Vance and former President Donald Trump also expressed grief, condemning the violence and standing in solidarity with the victims. In India, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy both denounced the attack, calling it a cowardly act against innocent civilians. Several other national and regional leaders have joined in expressing their support for the victims and their families, urging unity in the fight against terrorism.
