In a major diplomatic push following the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian government is involving opposition leaders such as Shashi Tharoor, Asaduddin Owaisi, and Ghulam Nabi Azad in a global outreach effort. The initiative aims to present India’s stance on cross-border terrorism and Operation Sindoor to key global partners.

Multiple teams comprising MPs, diplomats, and experts will travel to regions including North America, Europe, West Asia, and the Global South. The outreach seeks to counter Pakistan’s narrative and build international support for India’s response to the deadly April 22 attack that killed 26 civilians.
