Prayagraj: A fire broke out at an ISKCON camp in Maha Kumbh Nagar on Friday, causing panic among devotees and nearby akhadas. The incident occurred at Sector 18, Shankaracharya Marg of the Maha Kumbh Mela Kshetra, officials told PTI.

Chief Fire Officer Pramod Sharma confirmed that upon receiving the alert, fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the scene. “The fire has been fully contained,” he stated. However, thick clouds of smoke engulfed the area, and the blaze spread to over a dozen nearby camps, resulting in significant property damage.
