Hyderabad: A shocking incident at a renowned biryani restaurant on RTC X Road has left food enthusiasts appalled after a diner discovered a cigarette butt in their dish. The incident, which occurred at Bawarchi, was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage.
The video, shared on X by user Vineeth K, shows diners confronting the restaurant staff after finding the cigarette butt cooked into the biryani. In the footage, the visibly upset diners lift the plate to expose the contamination. Restaurant representatives, including a member of the ownership, Salman Mansoori, are seen attempting to address the grievances.

Vineeth captioned the post, “Cigarette butts in Bawarchi biryani,” advising people to consider cooking at home to avoid similar incidents. The video, posted on November 25, has garnered over 14,300 views, with many expressing their disgust and sharing humorous takes on the situation.
Reactions ranged from outrage to satire, with one user saying, “They added for additional taste,” while another quipped, “Butts flavour biryani.”
