Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu is currently on interim bail that was granted on medical grounds and CBN has also been trying for regular bail. He filed a petition in the AP High Court and it came to the hearing for today.
However, AP CID which has made the allegations against Chandrababu Naidu has asked for more time as the additional AG of the government isn’t available. After hearing the plea, the High Court has postponed the case to the 15th of this month.
It is known that CBN’s interim bail extends till November 28th and the CBN is trying to get relief in the meantime. He underwent medical checkups at the AIG Hospital and also underwent cataract surgery at the LV Prasad Eye Institute. He is currently taking a rest in his Hyderabad residence.
Chandrababu’s quash petition in the Supreme Court is in the final stages and a verdict on this will be out after the Diwali holidays.
