India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval reportedly held a secret meeting with Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly in Singapore, according to a report by an American news outlet.
Canadian officials shared details, alleging India’s involvement in using gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to eliminate Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. However, Ajit Doval reportedly denied knowledge of Bishnoi.
Interestingly, in 2022, the Indian High Commission had warned Canada about plots related to the murder of singer Sidhu Moose Wala, yet Canada failed to act. During the five-hour meeting, Canada urged India to address escalating violence.
