At least 15 students feared dead in a major bus accident that happened in Manipur. The incident happened in Manipur’s Noney district on Wednesday. According to the latest reports, two school buses that are transporting pupils collided. All the students belong to the Thambalnu Higher Secondary School, Yaripok and they were traveling toward Khoupum on a study visit.
The initial reports say that at least 15 students were killed and many others seriously injured. The reports revealed that the collision of the two school buses happened in Longsai Tubung village on the Bishnupur-Khoupum Road.
Some of the gravely injured students were taken to a private hospital in Imphal. Around 22 students were brought to the hospital and the exact number of fatalities is yet to be reported.
